About the CARES child aviation restraint

CARES is the only approved child aviation restraint that is not a car seat. That means you don't have to carry a heavy (not intended to be portable) car seat around the airport, just a 400g harness in your cabin bag.

CARES (child aviation restraint system) is designed for children between 22-44lb who are able to sit in their own airplane seat. The device is designed specifically for use in airplanes, and tested specifically for use by children in airplanes.

CARES features:

bullet

Weighs less than 400g

bullet

Fits in a 30cm carry pouch

bullet

bullet

bullet

Suitable to use in any airplane seats except exit rows

You can buy a pre-loved or to rent at eBay.

We've used this product at Flying with Kids, and we strongly recommend it.
